The southern bourse saw over 505 million shares worth some VND16 trillion changing hands today, July 28, falling 13% in volume and 16.5% in value against the previous session. The city's health authority will trace direct contacts of the confirmed cases and test those coming into close contact with the cases such as medical workers, patients, caregivers, security guards and employees of the parking lot at the hospital, Bnews reported. Patients and caregivers must stay in place, file health declarations and follow anti-virus protocols. The local authorities have disinfected the affected areas of the hospital. Vietnam’s Covid-19 count in the current wave has surpassed 100,000 – PHOTO: VNA HCMC – The Ministry of Health this evening, July 26, reported 5,174 new Covid-19 cases, including 19 imported cases and 5,155 domestic infections in 26 localities, sending the country’s Covid-19 caseload in the current wave, which began on April 27, to 102,525. Of the new cases, 380 cases were infectious while in the community. Among the new domestic infections, HCMC as usual accounted for the majority, at 4,283 cases, followed by its neighboring provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai with 326 and 134 cases, respectively. Besides, 116 other cases were found in Dong Thap, 81 in Hanoi, 36 in Can Tho and 34 in Danang. The remainder were reported in 19 other localities.
