The UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee has approved two districts of the German city of Hamburg as world heritage sites: the Speicherstadt and Chilehaus with the Kontorhaus District in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list at the 39th session of UNESCO in Bonn (Germany). The UNESCO World Heritage Committee based its decision on the belief that the Speicherstadt and the Kontorhaus districts are "an outstanding example" of buildings and ensembles which "illustrate significant stages in human history". The Committee justified its choice by calling the sites a unique symbol of the rapid international growth of trade in the late 19th and early 20th century. The Speicherstadt, constructed between 1885 and 1927, is considered to be the largest uniform collection of warehouses in the world. The "Kontorhaus contains office buildings from the early 20th century, and is regarded as the first office-only district in Europe. French wine-making regions, Champagne and a part of Burgundy have been granted "world heritage status" by the United Nations. The Champagne wine region is a historic province within the administrative province of Champagne in the northeast of France. The region already has some of the priciest agricultural land in Europe and the honour is likely to give a boost to the local economy through increased tourism and the financial assistance provided to World Heritage sites for preservation. In Burgundy, some of the world’s best red wines come from the slopes of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, south of Dijon. UNESCO called them "an outstanding example of grape cultivation and wine production developed since the High Middle Ages." Quang Nam , Thua Thien - Hue and Da Nang city jointly launched the "Indochina heritage path" tour in this month. Mr Dinh Hai, director of Quang Nam's Tourism Department and the tour advocate said: "After the economic East - West corridor line was established, the number of caravan tourists from Thailand rapidly increased to the Central of Vietnam. Additionally, the number of tourists from Europe and America to Thailand then traveling onto Vietnam has also seen a significant rise. On June 30th, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cutural Organization (UNESCO) informed the Magravian Opera House in Bayreuth, Germany, famous for the Wagner festival has been awarded world cultural heritage status. The World Heritage Committee, is currently meeting in Saint Petersburg city, Russia assessing sites for recognition. The Magravian Opera House is the only location reflecting Baroque music festival culture, Europe. It was designed by Italian architect Gali Bibienme, from 1746 to 1750 for Count Frederick III in Brandenburg, Bayreuth. This opera theater has a typical ballroom for senior officials at that time and the others are wood-paneled and decorated with marble or drawings.
