The Coalition was formed with the support of Investing in Women, an initiative of the Australian Government. VBCWE is expected to lead efforts to create workplaces where women and men have the same opportunities to contribute and advance in their chosen careers. The seven founding members of the VBCWE are Deloitte Vietnam, Maritime Bank, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), SASCO, GARCO 10, Traphaco and Unilever Vietnam. Why cultural diversity is important in the workplace
Viet Nam News HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese and Moroccan experts have emphasised the importance of cultural diversity for national unity during a conference held yesterday in Hà Nội. They also shared experiences in cultural preservation and development as Việt Nam and Morocco have many similarities in culture and history. Both of the countries enjoy the harmony of different communities with unique cultures, said Azzeddine Farhane, Moroccan Ambassador to Việt Nam. The conference was held in the framework of historical relations between Morocco and Việt Nam, and within the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES) and the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences Research (CERSS), signed, on March 28, last year. Vietnam is the greatest beneficiary of globalization and has been a successful example of integration during its ten years in the WTO. It is already taking advantage of its human resources and benefiting from its comparative advantages in areas where human resources play an important role. Vietnam’s accession into the WTO has been a success and has helped it grow very well compared to countries with high growth rates. In the global economy, we see economic growth in developed countries not being as high as in emerging countries. The Hanoitimes - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam directed to submit "Ba Be - Na Hang Natural Heritage" report to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization( UNESCO) for recognition as World Heritage. Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO to submit "Ba Be-Na Hang Natural Heritage" Brief Report to UNESCO while guiding Tuyen Quang and Bac Kan People's Committee to prepare and submit scientific records to the Prime Minister for permission.
