PANO – A conference to review the coordination between the Vietnam People’s Army and political, social and humanitarian organizations was held under the chair of Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, on February 26th. Over the past time, these units have well implemented staff work, making contributions to the well implementation of the joint resolution. Japanese pharma firm Eisai Vietnam Co., Ltd opened a new business office in HCM City on Thursday, May 12, 2022. — Photo courtesy of the company Japan-headquartered pharmaceutical company Eisai Vietnam has inaugurated a new business office in HCM City, reaffirming its decades long presence in the country. At the meeting, PM Chinh highly appreciated USAID's contributions to the recent development of Vietnam-U.S. relations through effective aid activities, contributing to the settlement of post-war consequences, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, and promotion of sustainable and inclusive development in Vietnam. Climate change response among AFD’s cooperation priorities in Vietnam

(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Responding to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change impacts are among priorities of the French Development Agency (AFD)’s cooperation priorities in Vietnam, AFD Executive Director Philippe Orliange has affirmed. Such cooperation priorities completely match commitments made by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties ( COP26 ) in Glasgow, Scotland (the UK), last November, Orliange said in an interview with the press.
