CDC Hanoi's cold warehouse At a working session with Deputy Minister of Health Truong Quoc Cuong recently, CDC Hanoi Deputy Director Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh said CDC Hanoi has one cold warehouse with the capacity of 40 cubic meters, which can contain an additional 150,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses, and one cold warehouse with the capacity of 16 cubic meters which can contain an additional 100,000 AstraZeneca doses. Hanoi also has six 3000 and 3000 AC refrigerators (the capacity of 126 liters can contain 10,000 doses each), and six cold boxes with the capacity of 44 liters each. Vietnam plans to run a 6-month pilot program on receiving foreign travelers to Phu Quoc Island, slated for October this year. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) is consulting with ministries and branches on the pilot program which will be implemented in two stages. In the first three months, Phu Quoc would receive 2,000-3,000 travelers a month on chartered flights. The travelers would be served within certain areas to be determined by the locality. In the next period, the island would receive 5,000-10,000 travelers a month, including travelers taking commercial flights. The areas would be expanded. It is expected that Phu Quoc would receive 25,000-40,000 foreign travelers in the six months of the pilot program. Of the new cases, 355 cases were found in the community. HCMC continued accounting for the most of the new cases, at 3,326, followed by its neighbors of Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau with 262, 99 and 63 cases, respectively. Besides, 46 other cases were found in Dong Thap, 31 in Binh Thuan, 24 in Daklak, 23 in Can Tho and 12 in Binh Dinh. Eighteen other localities reported fewer than 10 cases each.
