Dak Lak, Hanoi promote tourism connection

Addressing the event, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu highlighted the province’s efforts to recover the industry, asking Hanoi for advices to help her province achieve its goal of welcoming 905,000 visitors this year. Dak Lak is home to 49 ethnic groups, 41 accredited relics and the gong culture – a UNESCO world cultural heritage. It also houses 228 lodging facilities and a convenient transport system. At a press conference held in Hanoi on May 2, Head of the Ministry of Health’s Department of Communications, Emulation and Reward Nguyen Dinh Anh said that the event, held by the Vietnam Medical Products Import-Export JSC in collaboration with the Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC, will draw the participation of 450 companies from Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US, and Vietnam, among others. Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2018 to open in Hanoi
At the Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2017 (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The 25th Vietnam International Exhibitions on Products, Equipment , Supplies for Pharmaceutical , Medical , Hospital and Rehabilitation – Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2018 will take place in Hanoi from May 9-12. The information was announced during a press conference co-hosted by the Health Ministry, the Vietnam Medical Products Import-Export JSC (Vimedimex) and the Vietnam Advertisement & Fair Exhibition (Vietfair) in Hanoi on May 2. This year, 450 firms from 30 countries and territories worldwide will join the event with 535 stalls. SHB gets approval to raise capital

The bank was given the nod on capital expansion. — Photo courtesy of SHB The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has given the Saigon Hanoi Commercial JS Bank (SHB) the go-ahead to raise its charter capital to VNĐ26,674 billion (US$1.1 billion). The rise is the first part of SHB's plan to reach VNĐ36,459 billion in capital in 2022 to position itself among the three private commercial banks with the largest charter capital. SHB said it had submitted the plan, passed by its shareholder general meeting, to SBV for approval. Under the plan, SHB was also set to pay a dividend yield of 15 per cent to its existing shareholders for the financial year 2021 and offer a total of 45.12 million new shares for VNĐ12,500 apiece to its employees and the shareholders. By late June, SHB had VNĐ522 trillion in total assets, VNĐ471 trillion in total deposits and VNĐ390 trillion in total credit.
