The N.A. Committees for Foreign Affairs have closely partnered together both bilaterally and multilaterally under their jurisdiction, the officials said. The Vietnam-Laos relations have become more practical, notably with a workshop presided over by the N.A. Chairmen which shared experience in policy mechanisms for socio-economic recovery and development in the post-pandemic period. The two countries need to facilitate economic, trade and investment relations to match their potential and turn them into an important pillar in bilateral ties, they underlined. At the talks, which took place within the framework of N.A. Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue's official visit to Laos, the two sides briefed each other on the organization, functions and tasks of each committee, and discussed the possibility of holding a conference of the N.A. Committees for Defense and Security of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, as well as the topics of the event.
