“To buy or not to buy a house” an important question
While there are many young workers in cities who are working hard to own a house, there are also some people who have decided to give up this dream for certain reasons. Giving up a mental burden Huynh Anh Tuan, a city dweller of Phu Huu District in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, who suffered from a sharp drop in income during the COVID -19 pandemic, decided not to pursue his dream of owning a home. Vietnam, Cuba promote cooperation in justice
At a working session with the Chief Justice of Supreme People's Court of Cuba, Rubén Remigio Ferro, the Vietnamese deputy chief justice informed the host on the main reforms in the Vietnamese court system in the recent past, including enhancing the publicity of sentences, improving judicial service quality for the public and modernizing material conditions. He stressed that in its judicial reform strategy, the Vietnamese State aims to enhance the capacity of judges, build electronic courts and intensify international experience exchange. The Cuban chief justice also shared the orientation for the modernization of the Cuban court system, and noted the similar points in the process of completing the judicial system in the two countries. HCMC: License plate grant, vehicle registration at commune-level police stations
People register their vehicles at the Nha Be District's police department on May 21. The decentralization of license plate grant and vehicle registration to the levels of commune, town and district helps reduce people's travel and waiting time in registration procedures and license plate issuance instead of spending a lot of time going to the HCMC Road and Railway Traffic Police Department (PC08) under the Municipal Public Security Department. According to the HCMC Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, the police departments of districts of Binh Chanh, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be and Can Gio have been assigned to implement the work of registering and granting vehicle number plates, starting on May 21. Hanoi Cuisine and Craft Village Tourism Festival kicked off

Exhibition shows ethnic groups’ traditional handicraft
PANO - The Southern Women Museum is exhibiting 152 images and 84 objects highlighting weaving and dying methods and patterns of the traditional costumes of Cham, Khmer and other ethnic minority groups in the Truong Son-Central Highland region. The exhibition, opened on October 14th in Ho Chi Minh City, aims to honor women of those groups, who have been trying to preserve their traditional trade. It is also to introduce to visitors the groups’ cultures, and preservation of traditional trade, contributing to local socio-economic and tourism development. According to Nguyen Thi Tham, the museum’s manager, typical patterns on traditional costume of the ethnic minority groups feature the living environment, culture and rituals of each group.
