The International Maths and Science Olympiad was first held in 2003 for children under 13 years old. Since then, it has become a prestigious contest and held alternatively in different countries. This year IMSO was held online from January 21 to 24 and hosted by Indonesia. The total number of participant countries went down to 15. Vietnam also attended the contest with 24 students who are all in sixth grade. 12 students who joined the maths contests are students from Hanoi-Amsterdam School, Giang Vo Secondary School, Trung Vuong Secondary School, Ngo Si Lien Secondary School, Nguyen Truong To Secondary School, Ngoi Sao School, Archimedes School, Newton School and Cau Giay Secondary School.
