A Yoga performance at the event (Photo: VNA) Ba Ria - Vung Tau (VNA) – More than 600 yogis in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau gathered at an event on June 2 to celebrate the International Day of Yoga 2022 (June 21). Addressing the event, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Anh Hong said that the International Day of Yoga is a chance for yogis to meet, exchange experience and spread Yoga spirit to the community, but also an opportunity for the Vietnam ese and Indian people to foster cultural exchanges, thus enhancing the sound relations between the two countries as well as Ba Ria-Vung Tau and India in particular. The five-day visits of Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Hungary and the UK marked a new milestone in bilateral relations, eventually contributing to the Vietnam-EU partnership. The Chairman’s official visit to Hungary was significant amid the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations and approaching the five-year mark of the comprehensive partnership (2018 – 2023). (Photo: VNSC) Hanoi (VNA) – Potential plans and roadmaps were proposed to build national capacity in Earth observation using small satellite systems during a seminar held by the Vietnam National Space Centre (VNSC) at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) in Hanoi on June 30. In his remarks, VNSC General Director Assoc. Prof., Dr. Pham Anh Tuan said the Government in February 2021 announced a strategy for the development and application of aerospace science and technology by 2030, aiming to utilise achievements in the fields to address defence and security issues, strengthen management of environment and natural resources, monitor natural disasters and minimise their impacts, and provide related services for people.
