The Philippines’ athletes beat Vietnamese Phạm Thị Diễm Trang, and Phạm Thị Bích Liễu, who completed the performance with 8.56 points for a silver medal. Mawadhee Heetnoo and Thanawan Thongduang of Thailand took bronze on 8.35 points.
