At a meeting with U.N. Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. The Philippines’ athletes beat Vietnamese Phạm Thị Diễm Trang, and Phạm Thị Bích Liễu, who completed the performance with 8.56 points for a silver medal. Mawadhee Heetnoo and Thanawan Thongduang of Thailand took bronze on 8.35 points. The Vietnamese duo would have won a gold medal if their performance did not exceed the regular time set by the organising committee.
