Vietnam, Turkey urged to expand economic cooperation
Vietnamese and Turkish officials take a photo together (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü has suggested Vietnam and his country enhance economic, trade and technology cooperation. Özlü made the suggestion during a recent meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Van Trung and deputy head of the National Assembly's Law Committee Hoang Thanh Tung, who were on a working visit to Turkey to learn about building free economic zones and concentrated industrial parks (IPs). The Turkish official spent time introducing his Vietnamese guests to Turkey’s mechanisms for managing more than 300 concentrated IPs, coordination among the state, localities and enterprises in the work, and preferential policies for domestic and foreign firms to invest in IPs. Complete set of Czech-Vietnam dictionary released
The set, compiled by late Czech linguistic professor Ivo Vasiljev and co-author Nguyen Quyet Tien, was completed after 12 years. It comprises six volumes targeting Vietnamese expatriates and Czech people who want to learn Vietnamese. Considered a bilingual encyclopedia, it covers a wide range of subjects, including society, culture, history, biography and geography. At the launching event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ho Minh Tuan spoke highly of efforts made by the authors to complete the dictionary. Agreement signed to promote tourism development in Vietnam, Myanmar

Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers’ Association holds third congress
PANO – Vietnam Youth Volunteers’ Association on the morning of December 11th held its third congress in Hanoi (tenure 2015-2019), celebrating the 10th founding anniversary (2004), and receiving the First-class Labor Order. The congress was attended by leaders of the Party, State and people's armed forces heroes, heroes of labor, heroic Vietnamese mothers, leaders of ministries and socio-political organizations.
