The exhibitors are from 21 countries and territories, including the UK, India, Australia, China, Taiwan, Germany, Korea, the US, Japan, Italy and Viet Nam. A Vietnam-Taiwan textile and garment industry exhibition will open on August 23 in Ho Chi Minh City. (Photo: Vinexad) The event is jointly held in both in-person and virtual forms by Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad), A Vinexad representative said around 60 Vietnamese garment makers and exporters and 13 Taiwanese textile producers, including those already operating factories in Vietnam, will participate in the event. Vietnamese enterprises hope to seek suppliers capable to meet their needs for quality fabric in making garment for the domestic market and export at the event. A launch ceremony for Honda-branded electric motorcycles took place in Ho Chi Minh City for two days this week without the knowledge of the Vietnamese unit of the Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer, Honda Vietnam Company. The event, featuring the opportunity to test-drive what organizers claimed to be “genuine Honda electric motorcycles,” was held at the Culture Center on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street in District 3 on December 18 and 19. The introduction of these electric motorcycles caught the public’s attention and received shares on Facebook by people excited that the prominent Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer, Honda Motor Company, was behind the show.
