PANO - The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on October 25 organized a scientific seminar, themed “Vietnam-China relationship: Reality and Issues”, under the chair of the academy’s Director Nguyen Xuan Thang who is also the President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association. The Vietnam women’s football team have wrapped up their 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games campaign in style after grabbing a 1-0 victory against archrivals Thailand in the title match on Saturday night to successfully defend their gold medal at the region’s largest sporting event. The game at northern Quang Ninh Province’s Cam Pha Stadium, which was fully filled with 16,020 spectators, was Vietnam’s ninth consecutive SEA Games final and the sixth in a row for Thailand. After the hosts dominated in the first 15 minutes, Thailand started pushing forward. No goals were scored despite many chances created by both sides in the first half. Muhammad Osamanmusa opened the score for Thailand in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Peerapat Kaewwilai broke Vietnam 's net again, bringing the 2nd goal for Thailand, setting a 2-0 score in the first half. In the second half, with the enthusiastic support of thousands of spectators, the Vietnamese futsal players intensified their attacks and created many scoring opportunities, but they all failed to get the ball into Thailand's net.
