At the 31st SEA Games, the men's football teams in Group B - Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia – stayed at the Nam Cuong hotel in Nam Dinh Province, just two km from the Thien Truong Stadium. The hotel's kitchen had to serve the five teams with special nutritional requirements keeping in mind their religious faiths and preferences. Nguyen Van Chien, the hotel's manager, said that the three main meals for the teams were served as a buffet of 60-70 dishes. For example, the Indonesian team wanted masala fried eggs, which the team leader said suited the nutritional needs of the players. Some of the Indonesian players were Muslims who don’t eat pork, so their meals had to be adjusted accordingly. For the Thai team, the hotel’s chefs served stir-fried noodles with special spices. Flights from South Korea to Vietnam’s tourist hotspots resume
On Friday, the carrier flew 40 passengers from Cam Ranh International Airport near Nha Trang beach town to South Korea's Incheon International Airport, marking the resumption of the service after over two years of Covid suspension. The same day, 160 passengers flying from Incheon also landed at Cam Ranh. Vietjet said there will be three weekly flights on the route on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. On Saturday, it also resumed the service between Phu Quoc Island and Seoul with five flights a week. It plans to restart its Hai Phong-Seoul service from Thursday with three weekly flights. South Korea will resume issuance of three-month visas and e-visas to Vietnamese tourists from June 1 after over two years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
