Unlocking potential jobs

When beginning his journey to the US at the age of 20, Nguyễn Trọng Hiếu showed an endless passion for science. From a young student, Hiếu has become one of the nation’s leading scientists in engineering. With pioneer initiatives in solar energy, he and his team have taken humanity one step closer to a future where solar energy can thrive. Việt Nam News reporter Hoàng Hồ talks with Hiếu about his journey. One interesting impact of this approach can be seen in their investing habits. I recently had a chat with some of my younger friends on their financial plans and goals. The insights from the conversations were rewarding. Growing up, I was used to seeing my mother trading in gold and real estate but never in my early twenties did I consider doing the same. Local officials say the villages enable economic restructuring in a positive direction as they use local materials and generate stable employment for many residents. An Giang Province currently has recognised 29 craft villages with 3,846 households that provide jobs for more than 12,000 people with an average monthly income of VNĐ3.5 to 5 million (US$160-220) per person. Most of these make products for the domestic market.
