Vietnam set to take shape seven maritime economic clusters by 2030, aiming to turn Vietnam into a strong marine country, and promote sustainable development in relevant regions, sectors and fields. The visit was made on the occasion of the Vietnam high-ranking delegation’s trip to Laos to attend the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties (September 5, 1962 - 2022) and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1977-2022). Binh Minh Plastics Company (BMP)’s revenue reached VND1.56 trillion (US$66.7 million) in Q2, up 7 per cent year-on-year. The company's profit after tax was 3.5 times higher than in the second quarter of 2021, mainly thanks to the significant improvement in gross profit margin from 12.9 per cent to 25.1 per cent. The business attributed the increase in profit to the decrease in the price of plastic raw materials and unchanged selling prices.
