Themed “Hanoi - Den de yeu” (Hanoi - Come to love), the festival will take place from May 13 to 15 in Hoan Kiem pedestrian zone with the participation of airlines, tourism businesses, and resorts in Hanoi. During the event, festival goers will have an opportunity to experience tours bearing identities of Hanoi, including the tour to decode the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the tour to discover the ancient village of Bat Trang, and “Northern quintessence” show, among others. The HCMC Delegation of the 14th and 15th National Assembly (NA) deputies visit and offer gifts to troops stationed on Con Dao Islands. The event marked the 47th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30) and the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19). Contestants in the “Charming Ao Dai” beauty contest Attending the closing ceremony was former Vice President Truong My Hoa, Vice Chairman of the HCMC People’s Council Nguyen Van Dung, Chairwoman of the HCMC Women Union Nguyen Tran Phuong Tran. The program, aiming to support the local people, was carried out right before the L2FH Rotation 3 departed for home after accomplishing its term and handing over the mission to the L2FH Rotation 4. On this occasion, 150 gifts, including notebooks, pencils were handed over to needy students with good academic outcomes. The index started off in the green but gradually declined throughout the day and closed with a near 11-point drop, marking its third straight losing session. It has closed lower in six out of nine recent sessions, losing over 194 points this month. Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, on which the index is based, fell by 28.4 percent to VND14.58 trillion ($631.3 million). The investment registration certificate is a major enabler for the establishment of the Son My LNG terminal project company. The terminal will have an installed capacity of 450 trillion British thermal unit (TBtu) and represents a total investment of about $1.4 billion. "This is an important milestone for the development of the Son My LNG terminal project, which will supply liquified natural gas (LNG) to southern Vietnam and play a major role in shaping Vietnam’s energy future by diversifying the energy mix with imported LNG," said David Stone, president of AES Vietnam.
