That is the statement of Le Quoc Thinh, Director of Cuc Phuong Tourism Services Joint Stock Company (Vedana Resort) when introducing events aiming at promoting Cuc Phuong and Ninh Binh tourism after a long period of shutdown due to COVID-19. According to Chairman of Nho Quan district People’s Committee Hoang Khac Tiep, “Nho Quan is endowed with many historical relics and landmarks such as Van Trinh cave, Yen Quang lake, Dong Chuong lake, Cuc Phuong hot mineral water.” In particular, with the natural reserve area and new-stone-age cultural relics, Cuc Phuong National Park has received the title of Asia's leading national park for two consecutive years (2019, 2020) rated by World Travel Awards. The shows are the result of co-operation between VOV and the Vietnam Film Studio (VFS). Launched last month, Vietnam Journey aims to honor Vietnamese culture and tourism. The Economic Committee of the National Assembly has proposed that Vietnam restart a suspended nuclear power project in south-central Ninh Thuan Province to ensure the country’s ability to develop nuclear power in the future and to help achieve its environmental protection goal by 2050. The Economic Committee has submitted a report on the implementation of Resolution 31 of the National Assembly, which was issued to suspend the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project in the namesake province in 2016. In the report, the committee stated that Vietnam would potentially face challenges brought about by electricity shortage in the 2021-25 period. The competitive electricity market has not been developed in a synchronous manner, while the power pricing mechanism has been improved slowly. People in the northern province of Bac Giang’s Tan Yen District are busy harvesting their early-ripening lychees. A kilo of lychee is currently sold at VND30,000-35,000, up 10% from last year. Bac Giang is the biggest lychee hub of Vietnam, with the majority focusing in the two districts of Luc Ngan and Tan Yen. This year, local lychee growers have seen a bumper crop and the fruit prices are higher than last year. Ngo Van Cuong in Quat Du 2 Village in Tan Yen District grows a total area of over 5 hectares of lychees with GlobalGap standard for export. His family’s early-ripening lychee output is expected to reach 100 tonnes. This year, Tan Yen District has also piloted the plantation of organic lychees which have good quality. In the video posted on Facebook by her mother last weekend, Swar Mnemosyne Ricafort, 6, translated her mother’s instructions for a Vietnamese taxi driver to reach a destination on Hai Ba Trung Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
