Co nhan in the Bac Lieu bird sanctuary (Photo: VNA) Bac Lieu (VNA) - More and more rare birds have flocked to the Bac Lieu bird sanctuary, according to its management board. At the beginning of this year, about 200 co nhan (Asian openbill stork) migrated to the sanctuary. The flock has now reached 1,000. The sanctuary is now home to 700 more qum den (black-headed ibis) and three brown pelicans which have migrated to the sanctuary. Le Chi Linh, deputy director of the preservation zone of the sanctuary, said co nhan and quam den were two rare and valuable kinds of birds which were listed in Vietnam’s Red Book – a list of rare and endangered species of fauna and flora native to Vietnam. Illustrative image (Photo: Internet) Hanoi (VNA) - The government has ordered authorised agencies to strictly handle any individuals or organisations that illegally send Vietnamese citizens abroad. The order is made in a resolution issued by the government after its regular meeting held in Hanoi on November 5. Accordingly, the government assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to closely work with the Ministry of Public Security, localities and other relevant agencies to handle the case in which 39 Vietnamese were found dead in a container truck in Essex, northeast London, on October 23. The Government also calls upon other countries to work together in the fight against illegal immigration. The Ministry of Public Security was told to take measures to break up illegal migration organisations, multi-level marketing fraud as well as prevent hi-tech crime committed by foreigners in Vietnam in the future. The Bkav Corporation launched Bphone 3 and Bphone 3 Pro in Myanmar on July 4. Director General of Bkav Myanmar Le Quang Hiep said at the launch that they debut Bphone 3 in the country with a view to providing a high-end smartphone series that is comparable to their rivals’ products and sold at affordable prices. Shortly after the debut, the two smartphones have hit the shelves of nearly 100 stores across Myanmar at 499,000 MMK (331 USD) for Bphone 3 and 699,000 MMK for Bphone 3 Pro.
