President urges actions to handle health sector’s crisis

The State leader attended a ceremony on June 28 to mark the 50th founding anniversary of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation (Vinapharm), where he presented the first-class Labour Order to the corporation. He stressed that the difficulties that the health sector is facing are only temporary, adding that the Party and State are paying attention to and ready to work with the sector to solve the existing challenges and obstacles. He urged the Ministry of Health to work out amendments to the Law on Bidding, the Law on Health Insurance and relevant legal documents, and submit them to the Government for consideration and approval so as to create favorable conditions for medical establishments to quickly secure sufficient drugs to serve patients. (Photo: VNA) London (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received leaders of some enterprises of the UK in London on June 29 (local time), part of his official visit to the European country. Talking to Prudential Chairwoman Shriti Vadera, the NA leader congratulated the firm on its successes in the world as well as in Vietnam, expressing his hope that it will continue operating successfully in the country and fulfill its social responsibility. He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government and NA are ready to consider and deal with the problems facing businesses, including those from the UK, when operating in Vietnam.
