Hanoi (VNA) – The 13th National Party Congress will review the 2011-2020 implementation of the Political Platform (supplemented in 2011) and the socio-economic development strategy for 2011-2020, said Associate Professor Nguyen Viet Thong, Secretary General of the Central Theoretical Council. According to Thong, the 10-year implementation of the Political Platform which was supplemented and developed in 2011 has resulted in the development in terms of both theory and reality. “In the field of theory, we have continued to clarify various important issues such as the characteristics of socialism, the orientations of socialism and especially the major relationships,” he said. Cyber incidents may have slipped to #3 globally, in Asia Pacific it ranks #1 for the second consecutive year. Elsewhere in the world, it still ranks as a top three risk in many countries, including Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Spain, UK and the US. The acceleration towards greater digitalization and remote working driven by the pandemic is also further intensifying IT vulnerabilities.
