Photo: AEON Mall This plan was proposed by General Director of AEON Mall Vietnam Nakagawa Tetsuyuki at a recent meeting with Hanoi Party Secretary Dinh Tien Dung on May 13. By 2025, the Japanese retailer wants to build 16 more shopping malls in Vietnam. It is currently operating six department stores in Vietnam, including two commercial centers in Hanoi’s Long Bien and Ha Dong districts. As investment procedures for its project in Hoang Mai District is being finalized, the General Director of Aeon Mall Vietnam hoped Hanoi will continue to support and remove obstacles so that the execution of the project could kick off in the third quarter of this year.
