“The Quintessence of Tonkin” brings VN culture out to the world

Hanoi (VNA) – Staged entirely on water and providing a broad overview of village life, from folklore to music, poetry, water puppetry, Buddhism and more, the open-air show “Tinh Hoa Bac Bo” (The Quintessence of Tonkin) is described as a truly standout tourism product of the capital city of Hanoi, helping nudge local culture closer to international friends.  The live entertainment show has been open to the public for two years. The Quintessence of Tonkin includes six acts presenting traditional elements of the Vietnamese culture in a contemporary and innovative way. Air pollution is a mixture of small particles and gases – some we can see and some we can’t. Vietnam’s major cities are gravely affected by poor air quality; indeed, Hanoi was ranked second worst for air quality in the Southeast Asian region in 2018 by Air Visual. Situation in Vietnam When we talk about air pollution, we are referring to: particulate matter 10 micrometers or less in diameter (PM10), PM2.5, black carbon, nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2), ozone (O3), and volatile organic carbons (VOCs). Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City regularly exceed the safe World Health Organization (WHO) limit for air pollution such as PM2.5 and PM10. So, what is causing this poor air? More than 45 winners celebrate DOT Property Southeast Asia Awards 2019

Honour businesses at DOT Property Southeast Asia Awards 2019 More than 200 of real estate’s best and brightest attended the DOT Property Southeast Asia Awards 2019 presentation ceremony hosted in Bangkok in which a number of outstanding Vietnamese companies were honoured. Nearly 50 awards were presented during the evening with winners hailing from Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Held at Park Hyatt Bangkok, the special evening's highlights included the award for the first People’s Choice Award for Project of the Year Southeast Asia, which was won by Bangkok condominium BEATNIQ from Thai developer SC Asset.
