3.9 bln USD channelled into Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park
Hanoi (VNA) - The Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi has attracted 93 investment projects with registered capital of more than 90.25 trillion VND (3.9 billion USD) so far, including more than 7.95 trillion VND in investment approved last year, the Ministry of Science and Technology has said. Of particular note, several outstanding hi-tech products have been developed and manufactured at the park, including 5G smartphones and 5G network equipment made by Vinsmart in cooperation with Qualcomm, marine radars using 4G and 5G technology made by Viettel, and aircraft engine components and hi-tech cutting tools for the aerospace industry made by Hanwha. Gov’t continues legal assistance to SMEs
Hanoi (VNA) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently approved a legal assistance program for small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the 2021-2025 period. The programme aims to promote awareness and sense of legal compliance and reduce legal risks and obstacles of SMEs that account for majority of the country’s total businesses, the Vietnam Government Portal (VGP News) reported. Under the programme, ministries, agencies and localities shall have to update policies and legal assistance programs for SMEs, collect all feedbacks regarding legal obstacles from SMEs and report to competent authorities for refining legal regulations. Legal assistance shall be conduct in a diverse manner, including direct and indirect forms such as forums and dialogues as well as via various platforms.
