According to the ministry's report, the 47-year-old woman landed at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on January 10. She was sent to a local quarantine area upon arrival and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in her second testing on January 24. The patient is now being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases. With this new infection case, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 855. Three airlines found selling more tickets than seating capacity
Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways have been found selling more tickets than their seating capacity. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has requested the three airlines not to sell tickets that exceeded the number of confirmed slots. The order was made following the CAAV’s check and monitor the ticket sale activities of local airlines. In case, the airlines continue to ignore the request, the CAAV will not issue a licence for aviation transport. Between January 27 and February 26, local carriers will focus on domestic air routes with over 1,000 fights per day, up 28% on-year. The number would be 1,200 flights on peak days. Besides the daytime, airlines will also increase their flights at night from 10 pm to 7 am the next day with 140-150 flights per day.
