Through acquiring PCI DSS certificate, Bankograph is now ready for business expansion in Vietnam and beyond

Bankograph has just received the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) v3.2.1 certificate to secure their customers’ sensitive authentication data, satisfying the highest security standards and ready to continue growing its market share in Vietnam and beyond.

Bankograph is a fintech company headquartered in Singapore providing payment tools for credit, debit, prepaid, mobile, chip, point-of-sale acceptance, and ATMs, with value-added services in fraud and risk management, as well as business data analytics to commercial banks operating in Vietnam.

The purpose of the PCI DSS is to ensure the security of card data as it is processed and stored at banks or paying businesses.

PCI DSS is a set of requirements for meeting security standards, policies, processes, network architecture, software system, and several other factors, developed by the PCI Association.

The purpose of the PCI DSS is to ensure the security of card data as it is processed and stored at banks or paying businesses. PCI DSS helps set card information security standards and is applied globally to develop and implement security standards to protect financial data for a wide range of data security applications.

“As business grows and technology advances, financial institutions become more vulnerable to external threats and security becomes a more crucial factor,” said Alexander Gold, CEO of Bankograph. “Being certified by SISA Information Security, which is known as a pioneer in payment security, allows us to offer the highest international quality standards, especially those that fortify risk management procedures to provide clients with a secure digital banking experience and limiting security vulnerabilities and the risk of information theft, helping to enhance the protection of data stored on cards and card payment transactions to our valued partners.”

Currently in Vietnam, there are a number of units meeting security standards and receiving PCI DSS certificates such as VPBank, TPBank, Sacombank, Techcombank, OnePay Online Payment, VTC Pay International Payment Gateway, Electric Wallet Momo, and Vietnam National Payment JSC (Napas), among others.

Hanoi, February 25 (VNA) – Singapore is discussing the mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccine certificates with other countries, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on February 24, calling it a necessary step towards resuming global travel.

In a video recording posted on Facebook, Lee also said even if each country gears up to secure its own supplies, there must be global cooperation so that all, including developing ones, have access to the vaccines.

Singapore, a regional travel and tourism hub, began its COVID-19 vaccination programme on December 30, 2020. It has approved shots from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna.

People who have received a COVID-19 vaccination in Singapore will get a vaccination card that includes information such as their personal particulars, vaccine brand and dates of vaccinations. All local COVID-19 vaccination records are digitally stored in the National Immunisation Registry.

Meanwhile, Indonesia began its three-day mass COVID-19 vaccination for about 5,000 journalists in Jakarta on February 25.

The country is also targeting 5 million teachers and school staff members to be vaccinated by June 2021.

Indonesia kicked off its mass COVID-19 vaccination on January 13, with a target of 181.5 million people until next year, to create herd immunity and end the pandemic./.

Bale’s brilliance, Karius errors give Real third straight European triumph

May 27, 2018 by tuoitrenews.vn

A sensational overhead strike from Real Madrid substitute Gareth Bale and two calamitous errors by Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius gave the Spanish side a third straight Champions League title with a 3-1 win in an incident-packed final on Saturday.

Welshman Bale came on just past the hour with the score at 1-1 and after three minutes produced an astonishing bicycle kick finish and then netted with a speculative long-range effort that somehow went through the hands of the unfortunate Karius.

The German keeper had earlier handed Real a 51st minute lead when he threw the ball straight at striker Karim Benzema and the ball rolled into the unguarded net off the Frenchman’s leg.

“Great emotions. To lift three Champions League trophies with this club, this team is magnificent,” said Real’s Zinedine Zidane, who became the first coach to win Europe’s top trophy in three consecutive years. “We don’t quite realize what we have achieved yet. We are going to enjoy the moment. “

Liverpool, who crucially lost their leading scorer Mohamed Salah to a suspected dislocated shoulder in the 31st minute, had equalized in the 55th minute when Sadio Mane found the net from close range after Dejan Lovren headed the ball into the area.

In truth, though, despite their best efforts Liverpool never looked as much of a threat once Egyptian international Salah went down under a challenge from Real captain Sergio Ramos.

“We started well and played exactly like we wanted to,” said Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp, who has now lost his last six finals as a coach.

“The situation with Sergio Ramos (and Salah) looked really bad and it was a shock for the team, we lost the positive momentum and they immediately came up,” he said.

It was a night which confirmed Real’s ability to superbly manage the biggest of games.

Bale, who has not been first-choice at Real this season and whose future has been the subject of much speculation, was man of the match while 24-year-old Karius ended the night in tears as he lay flat out on the turf of the NSC Olympic Stadium.

Real have become the first team since Bayern Munich in 1976 to win Europe’s elite club trophy three years in a row. The Spaniards won five straight European Cup trophies in the 1950s.

Deserved triumph

Real’s fourth Champions League triumph in five years, and 13th European Cup success in total, was fully deserved despite Liverpool, the competition’s top scorers this season, making an aggressive start to the game in an electric atmosphere.

The English side attacked with intent and Trent Alexander-Arnold tested Navas with a low drive but Real looked in charge following the departure, in tears, of Salah.

Real had their own injury blow with right-back Dani Carvajal having to go off, replaced by Nacho in the 37th, and ended the half with Benzema’s effort being disallowed for offside after Cristiano Ronaldo’s header was saved by Karius.

France striker Benzema was to get compensation though when he was alert to Karius’s ill-advised attempt to throw the ball out quickly, although Real’s lead lasted just four minutes.

Liverpool’s Senegal forward Mane was sharp to react when Lovren rose to head the ball goalwards and their traveling fans sensed the Anfield side’s spirit could turn the game around.

But then came Bale, leaping to produce a jaw-dropping left-foot overhead volley from Marcelo’s cross before trying his luck with a speculative long-range shot that defied Karius’s ham-fisted attempt to keep it out and put the result beyond doubt.

In between Liverpool’s Senegal forward Mane hit the post from the edge of the area as Liverpool, lacking their usual attacking potency in the absence of Salah, continued to battle.

Ronaldo, who now has five Champions League winners medals, could have added a fourth goal for Real near the end but the Portugal forward was distracted as he burst goalwards when a fan ran onto the pitch before being stopped by security.

This time it was Bale who had grabbed all the headlines as Real and Zidane continued their continental dominance.

HCM CITY — Sacombank continues to collaborate with IBM for transforming its security operations centre to strengthen its data security infrastructure.

The centre was established and operated to international standards earlier last year, and followed a three-year roadmap for modernising and improving its capacity as proposed by IBM.

The technology that IBM has sold Sacombank offers world-class intelligent threat detection capabilities and is powered by IBM QRadar Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) like at other IBM security operations centres (SOCs) world-wide.

The project will focus on deploying and integrating new tools and enhancing the existing SOC to detect and respond to cyber security incidents more effectively.

It includes upgrading QRadar infrastructure to a stable version by taking advantage of additional features and fixing errors in previous version, deploying and integrating seamlessly with security orchestration, automation and response platforms for agile incident response, implementing Qradar Network Insight to improve network security threat analysis to identify Indicators of Attack in real time, extending security monitoring to 250 additional log sources, and performing SOC maturity assessment annually.

Trần Thái Bình, head of the bank’s information technology division, said: “As one of the leading commercial banks in Việt Nam, Sacombank is well aware of its role in customer data protection and should have data security strategies. Right from the beginning of the digital transformation journey, the bank has focused on investing in building the SOC and phase 1 has been successfully deployed.

“Now with IBM’s world-class expertise and security standards, phase 2 of the SOC transformation will allow us to more effectively detect and protect against cybersecurity threats , ensuring that customer data is protected optimally and most securely.”

Phạm Thị Thu Diệp, country general manager of IBM Vietnam, said: “Cybercriminals are constantly developing cybersecurity attack tactics for financial gain, disrupting or damaging the reputation of businesses. In such situations, it is important for businesses to have SOCs with industry-leading technology in place to operate and respond in a timely manner.

“We are proud of IBM’s leading security technology and services that will provide an integrated system for network security threat analysis and detection to help Sacombank achieve its mission of providing comprehensive and classy financial and banking services to customers.” — VNS

DHL air freight station in Singapore successfully renews IATA CEIV Pharma certification

February 9, 2021 by bizhub.vn

Singapore is the latest in DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific’s network to once again be recognized by IATA for the highest standards met by logistics providers for life science and healthcare (LSH) shipments

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 9 February 2021 - As the furor around the availability of Covid-19 vaccines grew late last year, the spotlight quickly turned to the logistics sector and its capabilities in delivering more than ten billion doses under stringent temperature requirements worldwide. Concerns are well-founded, as the bio-pharmaceutical sector reportedly suffers from an estimated USD35 billion loss annually pre-Covid due to failures in temperature-controlled logistics.

DHL Global Forwarding, the air, ocean and road freight specialist of Deutsche Post DHL Group, began certifying its global stations with the IATA CEIV Pharma Standard since 2016 and has recently re-certified its air freight station in Singapore for another year.

The IATA CEIV Pharma Standard, run by International Air Transport Association (IATA), is designed to ensure compliance, standardization, accountability and transparency across the air transport supply chain. “Singapore is the latest in our Asia Pacific network, along with Japan and China, to receive the IATA CEIV Pharma re-certification. This is especially timely as several countries try to secure Covid-19 vaccines to put a halt to the economic and social impact of the pandemic,” said Kelvin Leung, CEO, DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific.

“As our teams continue to work closely with our customers to deliver these vaccines, we appreciate that the accreditation is not only a quality mark of our service and network, but is equally a recognition of the hard work and dedication of our LSH specialists who work seamlessly across the world to deliver best-in-class logistics services to our customers,” he added.

DHL has been actively involved with IATA’s continuous efforts to adequately answer to the regulatory demands of the pharmaceutical industry. At each location, IATA examines and compares the station’s correspondence to its Temperature Control Regulations (TCR) as well as GDP (Good Distribution Practices) guidelines from the European Union, World Health Organization and other regulatory bodies.

“As the freight forwarder that was involved with bringing in Singapore’s first batch of Covid-19 vaccines, DHL Global Forwarding places a huge emphasis on delivering the highest supply chain standards for our LSH customers. The re-certification of the IATA CEIV Pharma on a corporate level and for our air freight station at Changi Airport stands testament to our commitment to support governments and the LSH sector during this crucial recovery period,” said Christopher Lim, Managing Director, DHL Global Forwarding Singapore and Malaysia.

Following independent audits by third parties and training courses for employees on site, the DHL Air GxP (good practice) facility in Singapore successfully renewed the quality label by exceeding the usual quality standards for transportation and storage of pharmaceutical goods.

DHL provides its worldwide employees with vital tools to understand and meet customers’ and regulatory expectations. In addition to implementing specialized training program by IATA regulation standards across its key GxP (good practice) facilities, DHL’s CIF Certified Life Sciences Specialist (CLSS) program equally provides a comprehensive curriculum of mandatory trainings, functional courses, and material to unlock the knowledge of this specialized industry. Like at all temperature-controlled locations of DHL, every designated employee in Singapore involved in such shipments have successfully completed the training and are certified LSH Specialists. This ensures that sensitive shipments are handled with utmost care and in compliance with the highest industry standards.

With its international network, DHL offers a wide-ranging product portfolio at its Air GxP locations that covers all client needs for time and temperature sensitive airfreight shipments and provides seamless temperature visibility along the supply chain. Through its excellent service, DHL has successfully established itself as the market leader for logistics solutions in the LSH industry. Special services also include the door-to-door courier solution “Life Sciences graded Specialty Courier”, the express service “Medical Express” with a fixed delivery time, and “DHL Clinical Trial Logistics”, a logistics solution designed for clinical studies such as the transportation of trial medication, ancillaries, and lab kits.

Note to editors:

Vaccine logistics for Covid-19 will pose challenges along the supply chain that must be jointly addressed by governments, NGOs, pharmaceutical companies, and logistics players urgently. Find out what lessons Covid-19 has taught on securing stable supply chains for future emergencies and the complexities in distributing the vaccine across the globe.
