As the high school entrance and graduation exams are starting in a few weeks, final-year students at middle and high schools are as busy as a bee at back-to-back extra classes. Some students leave their extra classes and return home at 9:30 pm every day. Like her fellow students, N., a ninth grader of Tang Nhon Phu B Middle School in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, is in crunch time. She has a very busy studying schedule. After school, she has to attend after-hours classes at a cultural fostering center and an English center. Additionally, she takes private lessons in literature and math. History proposed to be compulsory subject in high schools
Most members of the Committee for Culture and Education disagreed with making History an optional subject at the high school level for many reasons. First, History is a particularly important subject, playing a key role in political and ideological education for the young generation; educating patriotism, national self-esteem, cultural and historical traditions; fostering the thinking capacity and proper actions and behaviors in social life; thereby forming the qualities of Vietnamese citizens in the development trend of the times. Secondly, in terms of age, high school students, from the age of 15 to 17, mature in awareness and have better receptive ability about the national history. This is also the age that determines the formation of worldview, the system of views about nature, society, principles and behavior rules, and human value orientation. Eureka Robotics plans to expand operations to Vietnam in July 2022
Eureka Robotics’ CEO and team The company plans to use the new capital raised to expand its operations beyond Singapore, where it is headquartered, and Paris, where it maintains an R&D office. The new office will be established in Hanoi in July. Eureka Robotics has also deployed factories in Singapore, China, and Japan. Touchstone Partners on May 17 announced that it participated in Eureka Robotics’ recently closed a pre-Series A round, which raised $4.25 million from a handful of investors. In this fundraising round, Touchstone joins the lead investor, the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, and existing investor ATEQ. The Laos native, who goes simply by Ting, was born into a family of seven with creative roots. New Zealand poised to welcome international students back
“Our international education sector has done it tough for the last few years. Bringing forward our reopening to all international students shows this Government’s strong commitment to them, and to the rebuild of high-quality, world-class, New Zealand international education,” Chris Hipkins said. “Prior to the pandemic, the sector was worth several billion dollars to our country and education providers.
