(Photo: VNA) Mexico City (VNA) - A delegation of the ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC) paid a working visit to Guanajuato state , aiming to bolster trade and investment. The delegation, comprising representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, joined working sessions with leaders of Guanajuato and Irapuato cities regarding economic development, foreign trade, tourism and education. Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo and local leaders spoke highly of cooperation possibilities across all fields with ASEAN, particularly economic development, trade, investment and tourism, which are expected to help the state in particular and Mexico in general diversify export markets and attract foreign investment. Vietnam's pho bo (beef noodle soup) (Photo: VNA) Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Vietnam’s special cultural identities, landscape and cuisines were introduced to friends in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at an event in Malaysia on May 27. The event took place within a meeting of wives of officials and female staff of the Malaysia n Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ASEAN Ladies Circle (ALC) in the country, aiming to contributing to enhancing the friendship and solidarity within the bloc. Khuat Thi Hong Hanh, spouse of Vietnam ese Ambassador Tran Viet Thai and head of the ALC Vietnam, spoke highly of solidarity and mutual support of the ALC amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
