The “Hanoi City Ring Road No.3 Construction Project (Mai Dich - South Thang Long Section)” aims to construct a high-standard inner-city expressway in the western section, connecting the Mai Dich intersection and the South Thang Long intersection of Ring Road No.3 which links northern and north-eastern provinces, industrials zones and Noi Bai International Airport with the city center. The 5.4-km section has 4.8km of viaduct. The construction of a Vietnam welcome gate on an overseas Vietnamese road in Nong Khai province, northeastern Thailand, has begun. (Photo: VNA) Bangkok (VNA) – The construction of a Vietnam welcome gate on an overseas Vietnamese road in Nong Khai province, northeastern Thailand, has begun. A ground-breaking ceremony of the work was held on August 6 by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Khon Kaen in collaboration with the Nong Khai authorities, the Vietnamese Association and overseas Vietnamese organisations in Thailand. This activity aims to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations (1976-2022). Some errors, incidents still arise in non-stop electronic toll collection

(Photo: QUANG PHUC) At the Ho Chi Minh – Long Thanh – Dau Giay expressway, the traffic situation was reportedly improved on the morning of August 7 over the end of July and the beginning of August. The number of automobiles tagging ETC cards reached 99.24 percent at the Long Thanh toll collection station in Dong Nai Province. However, the congestion also happened when hundreds of trucks and automobiles got in line to pass through toll collection at National Highway No.51. At the toll collection stations on Hanoi Highway and Phu My Bridge in Thu Duc City, the traffic situation are also stable without acute congestion; however, some vehicles were recharged fee even though they did not travel through the stations.
