The Vietnamese U23 football team has been presented with big bonuses after winning a place in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games (ASIAD) 2018. The Vietnam Olympic team made history with its first entrance into the ASIAD quarter-finals after winning 1-0 against Bahrain during the closing stages of the last 16 round of the men’s ASIAD 2018 football tournament in Indonesia on August 23. The Vietnamese U23 football team Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent his congratulations to the team for the achievement. In his congratulatory letter, PM Phuc expressed hope that the team would continue to reap success and make great strides at ASIAD. Viet Nam News MOSCOW — England won their first penalty shootout in World Cup history as they beat Colombia 4-3 to reach the quarterfinals at Spartak Stadium here on Tuesday. They will face Sweden in the quarterfinals on July 7 in Samara, and winners of that match are going to play either Russia or Croatia on July 11.
