In his letter, the President commended the team for their ingenuity, decisiveness, courage and rescue skills, affirming that this feat has contributed to highlighting the image of the People's Public Security officers who are always ready to serve the people, and do not mind difficulties and dangers in protecting people's lives and properties. Quang Tri Border Guards present gifts to border people

During the program, the organizers handed over necessities and clothes, worth VND 30 million to 100 needy households of the two villages. It was a meaningful activity to mark the 15th anniversary of the village-to-village twinning program between the two localities, contributing to sharing difficulties with border people and tightening the Vietnam-Laos special friendship and solidarity. Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Van Thanh, Deputy Head of Village Cluster No.III in Sa Mouay district, Laos’ Salavan province held that the two villages have close relationship  and always support each others. Local media consider such a change a “revolution” in the electricity and environment of the country. The MoIT said in a written report to the Government Standing Committee that of 14,120 MW of coal-fired thermal power, State corporations had invested in 8,420 MW.
