The southern province of Tra Vinh will inject 450 billion VND (21.4 million USD) into preserving and developing its craft villages between now and to 2020. Under a project recently announced by the provincial People’s Committee, the locality will spend 246 billion on upgrading village infrastructure and the remaining will be used to build material zones, help businesses access technology and implement trade promotion activities. The Vietnam women’s football team have wrapped up their 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games campaign in style after grabbing a 1-0 victory against archrivals Thailand in the title match on Saturday night to successfully defend their gold medal at the region’s largest sporting event. The game at northern Quang Ninh Province’s Cam Pha Stadium, which was fully filled with 16,020 spectators, was Vietnam’s ninth consecutive SEA Games final and the sixth in a row for Thailand. After the hosts dominated in the first 15 minutes, Thailand started pushing forward. No goals were scored despite many chances created by both sides in the first half. Ministry announces 10 inland depots
Tan Cang Que Vo in the northern province of Bac Ninh has been added to the list of inland container depots (ICDs) in Vietnam, which now reaches 10 in total, according to a newly-released decision by the Ministry of Transport.
