Venezuela university opens faculty on Vietnamese nation

He stressed that President Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary career is an epic of patriotism and revolutionary heroism. The national leader, who devoted his whole life to the national liberation, independence freedom of the nation and happiness of the people, is an example for nations that are struggling to advance to socialism, including Vietnam and Venezuela, said the ambassador. Orbis to assist over 60,000 Mekong Delta children with eye care next year

Can Tho (VNA) – Orbis international organisation will support more than 60,000 children in the Mekong Delta region with eye check-ups and assist over 10,000 students with surgeries under a project slated for next year. At the working session (Photo: VNA) Authorities of the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on May 19 received representatives of the organisation regarding the integration of an eye screening project into annual health examination for children in 2023. Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thuc Hien spoke highly of  Obis’ projects which help residents in the Mekong Delta access high-quality eye care services, asking the organisation to care more for rural children. Military units launch tree-planting in tribute to Uncle Ho

At the ceremony held by Minh Dam Regiment under the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial Military Command, its chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Tam Hung emphasized the importance of planting trees to beautify barracks, create shade for troops during their break-time, contributing to improving troops’ living standard.
