Results from the State project launched three years ago on education integration for disabled kindergarteners were presented in the meeting. The management system for integrated education for disabled children has been established nationwide, said director of the Pre-school Education Department Le Minh Ha. People's Committee of Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province has just approved the plan of universalizing Pre-school education for 5 year old children in the period of 2010 - 2015. The plan aims not only to provide ready preparation in physical strength, understanding, feelings, aesthetics and Vietnamese for 5 year old children to enter grade 1 of primary school but also to reinforce school buildings and facilities to ensure that 100% 5-year old children will leave kindergartens for their study at primary schools in 2015. Other activities such as propagandising and popularizing contents and significance of the plan, mobilizing parents to bring kids under 5 to pre-schools or kindergartens, improving qualification of teachers and education management officers, providing equipments and toys to renovate syllabus and teaching methods will also be carried out at the same time. The Government wants to give top priority to the universalization of pre-school education in order to make best preparations for five-year-old children to enter the elementary schools.The Government chief lately turned on the green light to the Project on Universalizing Pre-school Education for Five-Year-Old Children in the period of 2010-2015. Underlining responsibilities of the State, society and families for the development of pre-school education, the project sets the overall goal of ensuring that the majority of five-year-old children throughout the country can attend two classes a day for a full school-year. The move aims at preparing physical, intelligent, mental, aesthetic and linguistic conditions for kids to enter elementary schools.
