Doctors diagnosed the patient as suffering from lumbar disc herniation (LDH), a common disorder among adults with degenerated lumbar intervertical discs, and prescribed surgery. Dr Lê Trọng Nghĩa of the hospital’s Department of Neurological Surgery said a 90-minute microsurgery, which combines magnification with advanced diploscopes, specialised precision tools and various operating techniques, was performed to remove the herniated portion of the lumbar disc that was putting pressure on a spinal nerve root. Tax authorities said they would review the roadmap of taxation collection and pilot tax withholding at some e-commerce sites. A new circular released by the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance has been criticized for affecting the operation of e-commerce platforms and their hundreds of thousands of sellers. Under Circular No. 40, which will take effect on August 1, e-commerce platforms are required to declare and pay tax on behalf of third-party sellers on the platforms. The Things That Count photography exhibition sends signs of hope by creating an international network of upcoming artists The exhibition, named Things That Count, is held with support from the Embassy of Belgium in Vietnam, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp, Belgium), and Matca Space for Photography. Things That Count is an online collaboration between young photographers from Europe and Vietnam. During 10 weeks in March and May 2021, students from the Photography department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium communicated online in text and images with young Vietnamese photographers about important current topics in modern society.
