The Hanoitimes - Based on indexes of average income, freedom and life expectancy, it's evaluated that Vietnamese people are happier than many South East Asian countries and rank 63rd in the world. The above-mentioned position is announced in the World Happiness Report 2013 by Columbia University's Earth Institute, USA on September 10th. The survey conducted from 2010 to 2012 in 156 countries, according to 10-point grading system, including, Denmark is the world's happiest nation. With an average score of 5.333, Vietnam is ranked 63rd. Although Vietnam's position is lower than many countries in the world, but higher than Russia, a powerful country, which is in the 68th place. In Asia area, with this average score, Vietnam is ahead of many countries and territories such as HongKong, Indonesia, Philippines and Laos.
