Edge computing is an important key to enterprises’ IT infrastructure strategies and the digital economy. A recent survey by TRA found that 51 percent of IT experts in Asia Pacific have begun applying hybrid IT solutions, combining edge computing, public cloud computing and on-premises infrastructure. Edge computing was chosen by more than 1,100 CTOs as the priority task for the next 12 months. The deployment of edge computing has been going strongly in neighboring markets, according to the report. 79 percent of surveyed institutions in Indonesia have applied edge computing, or have understanding about edge computing. The Vietnam 2035 Report, issued by the Government of Vietnam and the World Bank (WB), points out that if Vietnam doesn’t carry out reform, the average income per capita will be no more than $4,500 per annum by 2035. The Government should develop nationwide universal regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, and provinces and cities should not be allowed to arbitrarily apply anti-epidemic measures on their own, officials have proposed. In a draft report to the Prime Minister about enterprise development in 2020 and the first five months of 2021, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) summarized 12 groups of solutions that the business community has suggested. First, procedures on access to government support policies. Enterprises have asked to amend some requirements which they believe are too strict and not feasible. For example, companies are only eligible if more than 50 percent of workers have lost jobs.
