The programme featured special singing and dancing performances by famous artists such as Duyen Huyen, Pham The Vi, Thanh Su, Thanh Tam, Ngoc Tuan, Luu Hien Trinh, Ho Trung Dung, and Hien Thuc. Vocational school students present recycled items at environmental protection event in Da Nang
Hundreds of unique recycled products created by vocational school students were presented at an environmental protection event in Da Nang City, central Vietnam on Saturday. Taking place at the Da Nang Vocational Training College, the event was organized for the first time by the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs. Its goal was to promote a green lifestyle and students’ roles in environmental protection, contribute to the establishment of green schools, and limit plastic waste at vocational education institutions. Public urged to get booster shots against Omicron subvariants
The booster shots are expected to help extend protection against subvariants BA.4 and BA.5. Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged localities and organizations to accelerate the delivery of booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines to all adults and children to prevent infection of the disease. In a document sent to localities and organizations on July 2, Chinh said the new sub-variant of Omicron (BA.5) has been detected in Vietnam, increasing the risk of the disease outbreaks again, emphasizing that the administration of the booster shots has been slow, and action must be taken to speed up the process.
