The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the park held a workshop on July 5 to report consultation outcomes about building the 3D model with the engagement of the local community. Deputy Director of the park Do Quang Lap said with a ratio of 1:10,000, the 3.1m x 2m model reflects an area measuring 31km x 20km of the park’s core zone and part of its buffer zone. It will help improve knowledge about the potential of tourism products in and around the park and engage local residents in the development of new and sustainable community-based tourism products. Do Thi Thu Hoai, an employee in Phu Tho province, said: “I have been working at this company here for five years, but the allowances have remained the same for me. “I see that several other companies provide an amount for accommodation support, but here we don’t receive any.” Each month, she receives her base salary of VND4.4 million (US$188), alongside the allowances of VND300,000 for diligent attendance, VBD150,000 for fuel charges, and VND30,000 for female employees. New trade deal expected to boost Indonesia’s exports to Middle East
