The Vinh-Nha Trang railway will be upgraded with a total investment of over 1.2 trillion VND (Photo: sggp.org.vn) Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Transport has approved the Vinh-Nha Trang railway renovation and upgrade project under the North-South railway with a total investment of over 1.2 trillion VND (51.3 million USD) from 2022 to 2025. The Railway Project Management Board under the Ministry of Transport was assigned to be investors in upgrading projects of roads, bridges and stations with a total length of nearly 1,000km. Solar-powered cameras proposed in Hon Mun for coral protection

(Photo: VNA) Khanh Hoa (VNS/VNA) – The People's Committee of Nha Trang city in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa has proposed to install solar-powered cameras to monitor and protect coral in Hon Mun Area after severe coral bleaching was reported there. Huynh Binh Thai, head of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, said that the cameras would be installed on the island to monitor fishing boats and submersibles in the conservation area. Underwater diving cameras were also proposed to facilitate the observance of coral growth. Vietnamese citizens offer support to Russian man with broken thighbone
Many Vietnamese people have donated money to a 39-year-old Russian man in south-central Khanh Hoa Province who is unable to afford the surgery for his femoral neck fracture. Roman Borodachev, 39, a Russian national living in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, suffered a femoral neck fracture after a fall about two months ago but could not afford a surgery due to unstable income and the lack of health insurance. Anna Los, another Russian citizen in Nha Trang, sent a letter to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Friday to seek help for Borodachev. According to Los, Borodachev fell on the bathroom floor and broke his hip on June 12. The Russian man was then taken to the hospital, with doctors concluding that he would need to undergo a surgery.
