New York (VNA) – A 40-strong business delegation from the US will launch an investment promotion programme in Vietnam from March 3-6, aiming to expand trade and investment cooperation in the Southeast Asian country, according to an official from the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC). In a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Ha Kim Ngoc on February 25, USABC Chairman Alex Feldman said the delegation will hold many activities to interact with officials from the Vietnamese Government, ministries and sectors, and work with local businesses and partners. According to the HCM City Department of Transport, the ferry that connects Can Gio District in HCM City and Vung Tau City in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province will travel a distance of 15km in 30 minutes. The ferry can carry 250 passengers, 100 motorbikes and 15 cars. There will be 24 trips a day. The ferry will help shorten travel times. Travel from HCM City to Vung Tau often takes up to five hours on the highways. The people from Long An and Tien Giang provinces can take the ferry from Can Giuoc to Can Gio, keep going on Ly Nhon and Rung Sac roads to take a Tac Suat ferry to reach Vung Tau. Total journey time will take 2 hours and 30 minutes.
