Nhan Dan - The Red River Delta Region Art Photography Festival opened on October 7 in the ancient Co Vien Lau village in Ninh Binh province. The 143 photos on display were selected from 1,175 entries submitted by 212 photographers from Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Ninh Binh. The organising board presented the gold medal to photographer Duong Duy Long from Ninh Binh for a work entitled 'Khoanh Khac Trang An' (Trang An Moment). Three silver and four bronze medals were awarded to other outstanding photos, as were six consolation prizes and two team prizes.
