The exam assistance program has two phases running from May to July. In the first stage, volunteers offered health care and helped students study online and prepare for the upcoming examination. (Photo: VNSC) Hanoi (VNA) – Potential plans and roadmaps were proposed to build national capacity in Earth observation using small satellite systems during a seminar held by the Vietnam National Space Centre (VNSC) at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) in Hanoi on June 30. In his remarks, VNSC General Director Assoc. Prof., Dr. Pham Anh Tuan said the Government in February 2021 announced a strategy for the development and application of aerospace science and technology by 2030, aiming to utilise achievements in the fields to address defence and security issues, strengthen management of environment and natural resources, monitor natural disasters and minimise their impacts, and provide related services for people. Literary works for children honored with awards
The awards ceremony was held to celebrate the International Children's Day (June 1) in Hanoi. The winning works are: Co Ban La Co Ban (Basic is Basic), Biet Doi Tham Tu (Detective Team), Emma Tham Hoa (Disaster Emma), Du Dua Tren Ngon Cay Bang (Swing on Indian Almond's Branch), and a short story collection and picture book Chiec Dep That Lac (The Lost Sandal). The annual non-profit awards were launched in 2020 to honor the best works by and for children. The award title is taken from the main character in De Men Phieu Luu Ky (Diary of a Cricket) by To Hoai, one of the most well-known Vietnamese children’s books. The awards include one grand prize called Hiep Si De Men (Cricket Knight) and five others called Khat Vong De Men (Cricket Desire).
