The Quang Ngai province People’s Committee has decided to spend 1.6 billion VND to buy rice for poor pupils in mountainous areas in the 2007-2008 school year. Each one will be given 10kg per month. Each pupil of 6 th, 7 th and 8 th grade will be given 10 kg of rice per month for 12 months while pupils of grade 9 will be given rice for 6 months.
