Vietnam Friday announced the launch of the Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card targeted at elite and affluent consumers in the country, where the American bank has been present since 1993. "We think the card market here is just beginning. We see real opportunities to come in," Brett Krause, managing director, Citi country officer for Vietnam, said at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday. The Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card leverages Citibank's partnerships with major airlines in the region to offer best in class features and benefits to customers in Vietnam, he added. (ACE Life Vietnam) last week announced their cooperation in launching Citibank ACE Life Platinum MasterCard Credit Card. The Ministry of Construction has asked for the government permission to stop the pilot program on developing its two economic groups - HUD (the Vietnam Housing and Urban Development Group) and VNIC (the Vietnam Industry Construction Group). After a period of operating on a trial basis, the two economic groups have shown their shortcomings in production, capital and labor force management, while the profits have been inadequate to their power assigned by the State. No door for return of RON92 petrol After RON92 petrol was replaced by E5 bio-fuel for about three months, several enterprises said that the consumption of E5 was lower than that of RON92 and petitioned the authorities to resume the use of RON92. However, experts and businesses have asserted that the use RON92 petrol should not be resumed. Recently, Ho Chi Minh City One Member Limited Liability Oil and Gas Company (Saigon Petro) sent an official document to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Finance, saying that the consumption of E5 bio-fuel in the first two months of 2018 accounted for a very low proportion of the total petrol consumption of Saigon Petro, at over 30% of total petrol consumption, while the consumption of RON92 made up 65% of the total consumption.
