The score didn’t reflect the whole game as Vietnam were dominating most of the time. Myanmar failed to create any considerable changes, aside from a long-distance shot by captain Khin Malar Tun or a header by Win Theigi Tun. In the first 15 minutes, Pham Hai Yen faced the Myanmar keeper two times but couldn’t finish. As soon as the match started, Vietnamese players launched continual attacks, but Myanmar managed to deal with those offences. The game’s turning point occurred in the 28th minute, when captain Huynh Nhu of Vietnam scored a header goal after receiving the ball passed in the air from Tuyet Dung. Laos launches writing contest on special relations with Vietnam

Vietnam beat Myanmar, enter 31st SEA Games women’s football final
Vietnam have advanced to the women’s football final at the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games by defeating Myanmar 1-0 at Cam Pha Stadium in northern Quang Ninh Province on Wednesday night. The hosts consecutively won the gold medal in the 2019 and 2017 tourneys while Myanmar claimed the bronze medal in those two editions. Wednesday’s game were much enlivened by the two teams’ excellence and 15,950 spectators at the stadium. Vietnam school in hot water for asking students to detail slapping of classmate
A middle school in the north-central province of Quang Binh, where a teacher last month asked classmates of a student to take turns in slapping him a total of 230 times for “swearing” in class, has stirred further public anger by asking those concerned to detail the event in a questionnaire. A sixth grader at Duy Ninh Middle School in Quang Binh was hospitalized in late November after he was repeatedly slapped on the face by his classmates as a punishment from his teacher for allegedly using foul language in the classroom. The math teacher, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy, asked the whole class to give the student ten slaps each after he was accused of “swearing” by another classmate.
