Security personnel were kept very busy, constantly regulate the flow of vehicles. The crowd was thick even at the terminal gates. An area to make medical declarations was also crowded. All passengers have to submit them after installing the PC-Covid app. Those with symptoms like coughing, fever, muscle ache, sore throat or loss of taste are not allowed to fly. The health ministry said nearly 100 per cent of people aged above 18 in cities and provinces in the country had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccines, 95.6 per cent the second shot, and 18.6 per cent the third shot. The rate of children aged 12-17 being given the first and second shots reached 94.1 per cent and 82.2 per cent, respectively. People testing positive for COVID at the airport can now choose which hospital they want to be treated at and are not compulsorily required to go to Field Hospital No 12.— VNA/VNS Photo HCM City — All public and private hospitals in HCM City that meet the conditions mandated by health authorities can now treat people entering the country with COVID-19. Earlier, all imported cases must be treated only by Field Hospital No 12. But to take in patients, they need to have a quarantine and treatment area separated from areas meant for local COVID patients.
