Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - Five domestic airlines reported nearly 5,000 delayed or cancelled flights, accounting for 17 percent of the total operated flights, in the first two months of the year. The number increased by 4.2 percent from the previous month and posted a 0.9 percent year-on-year rise. According to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV), Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific, Bamboo Airways and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) operated a total of 29,363 flights in the two-month period, up 22.8 percent from the same period last year. Of which, Jetstar Pacific had the highest rate of delayed or cancelled flights with 838, accounting for 25.5 percent of its scheduled routes.
