In particular, on May 12 and 13, the mission presented six gift packages, worth VND 120 million, to the Police Department, Military Sub-region, gendarme force, and the Overseas Vietnamese Associations of Svay Rieng and Pray Veng provinces. The deed aimed to share difficulties with the Cambodian armed forces and people who were strongly affected by natural disasters and diseases. Welcoming the Cambodian senior officer to Vietnam to attend the fifth Vietnam-Cambodia Defense Policy Dialogue, General Chien highlighted the importance of this year’s dialogue which was held ahead of the first Vietnam-Cambodia border defense friendship exchange. The outcomes of the dialogue will be reported to Vietnamese and Cambodian defense ministers in the framework of the first bilateral border defense friendship exchange.
